Visiting clients in Jersey is all work and no play

Whenever I visit my clients in Jersey, I always make time to catch up with my insurance broker colleagues.

It’s never just a social call, though.  Valuing watches and jewellery is a complex job at the best of times, but Jersey can often provide a unique set of challenges that we don’t find here in the UK mainland market. So it’s important to ensure that all parties are up to speed on what is expected and feasible regarding replacement, along with any factors that may impact or delay the settlement of a claim. It’s also a good chance to discuss changes within the jewellery and watch market, especially as pre-owned watches recently hit a two-year low.
